TOMATO JAM TIME















SEE RECIPE AND INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

🍅Core, and chop up 8 medium vine-ripe tomatoes with a knife.
🍅Toss tomatoes in a food processor or blender and blitz just a couple times. 
🍅Mix chunky tomato purée, 1 cup cane sugar, and 1tsp of each spice from the following options:
           Freshly cracked pepper 
           Ground ginger
           Cardamom
           Cinnamon
           Nutmeg
           Ground cloves
           Salt

🍅Bring everything to a boil in a medium size pot, then simmer on med-low heat (no lid) for an hour.
🍅Stir occasionally until it thickens to the consistency you want.
🍅Take off the heat and add 1-2 Tbs vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract,
